now has a wiki!

Next Meeting: Wednesday, February 25th

Before posting anything, please read these rules!

1. To get the password to post things, contact Maya & Charlie at their respective e-mail addresses listed under the "Reminders" link, or just ask us.

2. The very nature of creative writing creates moments that are not "PG", so to speak. Do not upload anything that you would not feel comfortable sharing aloud.  We ask that you please use discretion when posting a piece that has vigorous adult themes or frequent profanity, even if you would feel comfortable sharing it. Consequently, if you upload such a piece, please offer a warning as to its contents.  (A red X next to the document will suffice.)

3. When posting a document, a name must be included or else the file will be removed. 

4. Do not post the same piece multiple times.

5. Only Charlie and Maya may delete documents.  If you think another person's piece is breaking a rule, contact one of us about it. You may remove pieces only if they belong to you or if you have the express permission from the club officers.  This shouldn't be a problem, though.

6. When responding to a piece, please use constructive criticism, and please be polite.  This also shouldn't be a problem.   

7. Come to the meetings!  This website should not be used to substitute for the afterschool club.  If you can't make it but still want a piece to be reviewed, post it here and we can provide feedback. Or, if the piece is too long to share out loud in club, share it here.

8.  Meeting dates are posted on the "Reminders" page, along with other important information. 

For those who received CWC information on OL Info Night: You can participate too! In fact, we'd absolutely love it if you did.  Feel free to write and post prompts, or upload work on the "Pieces for Review" page.  Any genre is welcome--poem, short story, novella, novel...whatever!  Don't be afraid to join in!
